Nikon D810, Sigma 105MM, f/2.8 OS lens. First shot is 14 frames combined. The second is 17 shots. Stacked with Photoshop CC. No special lighting. I added the first shot's black background. The background of the second shot is my living room carpet but I added a vignette. I did a little surgery on the second Iris to open up its interior. Irises plucked from my yard. What do you think?
Excellent - I envy your patience!

Thank you. I have considerable time on my hands right now.
Don't know how focus points that was; so far my patience runs out at about 15, you made some excellent photographs of that beautiful flower!

Thanks. Every time I do a stack I wish I had a much better computer.
Focus stacking of this caliber requires careful planning, delicate execution and quiet patience, both, behind the camera and at the PC. The final product shows also that it all came to fruition within the creative process. Thank you for sharing such lovely work.
They both look great to me. Did you move the camera while shooting or change focus target?

Thanks to you both. Camera was on a tripod in live view. I moved the focus point around the flower.

Same here. I can't wait until I take a sledge hammer to this P.O.S. Dell and return to an iMac.
I love the color & I think this would make a terrific Mardigras mask!
Wow. Both shots are amazing. Really well done.
Nice--the second one is my pick.
