Are these Tree Swallows? The only ones I have seen never seem to land.

thank you and yes my husband said they are swallows we have birdhouses on all our fence posts in the backyard and every year they make nests in one they let me get pretty close to them they chirped at each other the whole time lol

The Daniel Webster wildlife preserve in Marshfield, MA has a similar group of birdhouses usually occupied by Tree Swallows. The area is run by Mass Audubon. Unfortunately, all of Mass Audubon many areas are currently closed, but hopefully soon we can get back out there.
