Finally, an Apple Blossom

After what has seemed like a cool and wet Spring, the apple tree outside our den window has finally started to create blossoms. Now I have a tree full of blossoms to look forward to.

Unfortunately, my Dad didn't ask enough questions before he purchased it thirty years ago.

This is a "heritage" tree - it grew taller than he expected, and only squirrels consider to be the apples to be edible these days.

I grew-up with apple trees in my back yard. Miss those days Beautiful blossoms, great fruit to eat, fun to "chunk".

Unfortunately, as I already commented, these ”heritage” are all look and no eatable fruit.
