I see no real problem with the protests.

They don’t need the guns unless they need to shoot somebody.
I hope they don’t shoot anybody.

It is a demonstration my friend. They are demonstrating their ability to go along with the 2nd Amendment if necessary. Nobody got shot. I doubt anyone was even threatened.

Now compare these demonstrators to Liberal demonstrators who r**t, commit arson, l**t stores and so on. If you can't see the difference between real peaceful assembly by Conservatives and Liberal r**ts and so on then there isn't much anybody could explain to you. Surely you can see a difference.

I have to agree with the protesters however, the guns are just stupid. Absolutely no need. I believe in the second amendment so I guess it is their right, but still not advancing the cause.

If it was liberals with guns (I know...that's a stretch) they would have shot the place up and burned everything to the ground. It's because they are so tolerant of eveyone else's view.

That was an i***tic remark that goes way back to Liberals trying to make a point of gun owners using firearms in lieu of penis envy. Here I am shaking my head at your idiocy.

I only wondered why they need to demonstrate with a gun on display visibly on their person unless they plan to use it. Again, I hope nobody gets shot because that is what guns are for—shooting things.

You take it too far, and you know better. I am against liberals or any other i***ts r**ting, l**ting, arson, and “so on”— but that wasn’t my point. My point is “I hope nobody gets shot”. If there were no guns at the demonstration, no one would accidentally, fueled by exaggerated emotion, get shot.
Good Lord, it is simple,

The demonstration of carrying firearms is/was a reminder that the 2nd Amendment is still valid in America as is the right to peaceful assembly. There was no plan to use any firearm. They were basically props for the demonstration.

God forbid anyone bringing an automobile to the demonstration either since auto deaths are on the rise every year.

A loaded gun is a helluva prop. It is also an invitation for needless tragedy triggered by excited, emotionally charged, and crowd mentality misbehavior.
But, it is makes people feel more relevant, important, effective, or threatening; it is their right.

Please show me where the guns, any of them, were loaded. Can you see something I cannot see? I didn't see anything threatening about a person carrying a firearm. How odd that you would find it threatening. Were any of the firearms pointed at anybody in a threatening manner? Any threats made?

OH! Thank you Very much for pointing out the error of my ways!! Keep shaking your head, but name-calling is something I will never resort to. Even to you.

~ I disagree with you - so what! I am allowed that (Constitution, Bill of Rights, all that, remember??). Far from liberal, I am. Any protest I have attended or participated in, not once did I feel the need to carry a rifle around. That's just being a responsible gun owner.

Nor did I call you names. As for being a responsible gun owner I have been for over 60 years. These protestors are carrying firearms to point out the 2nd Amendment. That is all. To my knowledge there were no threats toward anyone, no rifles pointed at anyone, no unsafe gun practices, NOTHING against the law.

Why would you have a problem with that? I have already pointed out it would not be my thing. But I can respect these men and women for doing what they feel is appropriate to make a point. It started as a peaceful protest and unlike Liberal protests, remained peaceful.
