Just a few recent photos of what I am finding outside now.
Her name is Sally Holmes. She's a climbing rose. A few years ago, I waited for a corner neighbor to prune her and rescued a few small branches from the street. She is an amazing bloomer.

Once I let the ladybugs take over, I stopped my aphid spraying. It's so much better this way.

Some sort of leaf-legged bugs descended a week ago. I hate them.

Of the two ladybug shots, the second is my favorite because of the rich red color surrounded by pretty greenery.
Now, jumping spiders make me smile regardless of light and color. Your description of "garden protector" is delightful!
Love the sharpness and vividness of these shots. Very nice variety as well. Thanks for posting.
Wonderfull, colorful set, well done.
Beautiful set, Katy, even if you had to substitute bugs for your usual birds (LOL)!
A really nice set, Katy. Those leaf-footed bugs mate like rabbits. I never see one without several others near and many mating.
Lovely shots, Katy! Love the ladybugs and all the flowers!

Thanks, Mike. I have to be happy with what nature gives me on a particular day. There certainly haven't been alot of birds to see and this should be peak migration season now. Sad.

Thanks, Ken. Yes, they do seem to be mating alot. I need to look them up to figure out what damage the do. They are relatively new in my garden.
