Come on people! People in Amazon warehouses are coming down with Covid-95. Some have died. I think you can put up with delays in getting your stuff for a few months. You can sit in your safe comfortable chair in front of your computer and complain about service that in some degree puts people at risk.

Have some symphony for the troubles of others. Pray the next time you got to church that people that serve stay healthy and are able to go home to see there loved without fear of giving them the disease.

Just goes to show you what they consider essentials!

No, it merely shows what they had close to you, and what they had to wait for plane space from Seattle for. They won't hold back delivery of non-essential items if they happen to be at hand right now, but their new ranking will allocate whatever transportation capability they have to essential items first and the others only if space is available.

I think yo probably said that with a smile but it's even more important now! AND, going to church now can mean watching the pastor and praise team on a streaming device, not necessarily in a sanctuary.

I expected slow delivery-every one is flashing the same notice. Haven’t noticed a difference with Prime. Everything has arrived within three days including weekends. Since I haven’t left my house since March 16, not so worried about deliveries.

Like you, I've found Amazon's deliveries slipping. So much so that I've terminated my Prime membership. I see no reason to pay a premium for lack of service. Maybe when this mess is over, I'll reinstate, we'll see.

What he said. They are asking me for my renewal due this month. I think I will pass and wait until the next day shipping returns. That actually , along with having things I could not locate elsewhere, was the primary reason I joined anyway. Amazon's prices are no great bargains from what I see.

Interesting situation. Because of Covid-19, Amazon says it is giving priority to shipping essential items, so regular items will take longer. Prime delivery has gone from one or two days to a week or two. I don't mean to be skeptical, but I wonder if Amazon is just taking it easy with their shipments and using Covid-19 as an excuse. Since I'm paying over $100 a year for fast delivery, I wonder how long I will be expected to put up with slow deliveries.

I'm just floating an idea here - not complaining about delivery - but if they could deliver in two days during the Christmas rush, why can't they do the same now?

Go easy on me. This is a topic for discussion, not an attack on Amazon.

Maybe it's because #1 they have to keep employees further apart therefore they have fewer employees. #2 venders that they get supplies from may not be supplying non essentials because they've been shut down for the COVID19 virus #3 Office staff is reduced or they are working from home like many people these days which may or may not be efficient.

We have an Amazon Prime membership and it’s worth the price, as shipping items to Alaska is quite expensive, and paying to have 3 or 4 items shipped up here pretty much pays for the annual membership fee. And yes, lately it’s been taking longer than usual to get things shipped, but we’ll still keep our Prime membership current. I expect when things settle down, the normal shipping time will return.

The prime membership provides free shipping and other benefits. I am still getting my things shipped as before. Maybe some delayed deliveries but Amazon doesn’t control USPS, UPS, or Fedex.

My guess is any delays are due to the huge increase in online shopping. Or there may be some shipping delays from their providers.

Amazon also offers other amenities with the subscription-like video streaming.

I’m always ordering things from Amazon, especially now. In the last week, Amazon managed to lose a 55” flat screen TV between their distribution center and my house 87 miles away!

I doubt Amazon was doing that delivery...although they will be doing more in the future. We have an Amazon warehouse going up nearby and it will use Amazon trucks for local delivery.

Yes! A big smile!! As long as the internet and or broadcasts are still working (for those that have the capability, which I believe to be fairly high).
~ My wife and I started having our own Communion service at home when things started closing up. Our faith not hindered!
