Good crop and a nice image. I guess that I would try to increase the colors a bit (first photo) and also remove a bit of the graininess (pixilation) within Lightroom or Photoshop.

We saw these birds about a week ago here in N.E.Florida. They are migrating, and this is the first year in about 40 years I've ever seen them. They are Rose Breasted Grosbeak, and aren't they lovely? The female will be brownish, around the same size, and she has white lines on her face.

nice shots … I get these at my feeder from time to time … (since the bears are up and about, I just put some seed on the railing … bears have dreadful table manners
