Until recently I had taken almost no photos this year because of health issues and that miserable virus we have heard so much about. But we recently purchased a lavender plant that now resides on our patio. So I decided to hook up my Canon macro lens and take some shots of the lavender. The light was good but changing rather quickly, so I did not use the tripod, but hand held all the shots. Using f/7.1 my DOF was minimal, but some images were acceptably sharp. Comments welcome and I hope you enjoy.
WOW!!! I had no idea my lavender flowers looked like this. These are terrific!

Thank you Carol for looking in and commenting. I wished that I would have had time for the tripod, so I just tried to hold my breath while composing and shooting.
