I am a retired photographer that wants to pursue photography on a different level.

I made my living in several types of photography, news, product, portrait, & graphic arts.

Now I want to shoot for ME. That would include landscapes, weather, contests, & general portfolio stuff.

I find myself very experienced in some areas, and total newbie in others.

I have had Photo Buddies before, they make nice sharing of experiences.

I have a new Canon 60D, with only a 18-185 kit lens.

I have a lot to learn, but also have some knowledge to share.

Parks and Rec programs... outings and photo walks
Community College classes... mostly special outing programs or seminars.

I teach at a community college... the photo instructors often have field trips and seminars. Sometimes overnight or weekend junkets. One example. Two days (two nights) in a snow bound lake lodge, Snow cat in about 2-3 hours, Stay at the lodge. Image capture in the snow and around the lake. Similar good weather examples.

Many photo buddies meet in these venues.
