I have a perfect wall for a long narrow picture to hang. This image is a possible candidate. It might have to be brightened a bit and I have the original file.

For you with printing experience, what would be the maximum print size for this image? The pixel size of the file is 1519 x 3038.

Thanks for opinions.

Printing depends on assumptions about visual acuity and viewing distance. If you say arms length viewing by someone with 20/20 vision you could stretch it to 12-13 inches on the short side. But if you assume viewing at 18 inches it drops to 8 inches on the short side.

Resampling can help sometimes, some people don't approve but I've had good luck with Photoshop preserve details 2.0.

I would clone stamp the twig and crop the stuff below the critter. Does not add to the image IMHO

Very nice shot. Topaz Gigapixel will let you enlarge this image to whatever size you want.

It is not necessarily the size you print to rather how much of the wall you want to use.
I suggest you pick your size of print to what you want to do with the rest of that space. I love the Image.

I agree with some of the other comments, clone out or crop out the sticks on the bottom. They take away from the subject.

It is a great shot, but wonder about white chest. Blown out? Noise?

Nice shot. If it were mine, and it's not, I would clone out the out of focus branches behind the bird and maybe add a little texture.

It’s a nice shot. It would be even better if you could get rid of that twig at bottom of the bird.
