Had one for about 5 years now. When I first grew one my wife asked me to shave it, pleaded, begged, found excuses but I persisted. Been married for 50 years now. Ask her now how she feels about it but can't seem to remember the befores. She says it is OK but I know deep down inside that she would be delighted if I shaved it.

I have been shaving through this isolation period but sure wish Amazon carried hairbows with masculine theme! Possibly a fishing pole or a gun, but not little flowers!

I was growing a beard until the wife told me it was prickley. I then shaved. After 45 days, it would have been glorious, or at least scraggly.

Have had a beard or a goatee for 40+ years. The wife and kids have never seen me without one or the other. The beard part comes and goes, always at least the goatee. Don't know if they would recognize me if I shaved it all off.

I started my beard the day I got out of the Navy in July 1970. At one point it was red and as long as Billy Gibbons’. Sadly, it’s neatly trimmed and grayish-white now.

I’ve had a beard on and off....mostly on...for 35/40 years. This latest stretch is about 10 years. I remember shaving it off when my middle son was about 2. My wife said I should let him watch me shave it so he’d know it was still me.😊

Have had a mustache for 36 years. My wife an ID card that I had misplaced which showed I had a mustache and she liked me better with it. I told her the only way I would keep it was if she would take care of it and she has. The one and only time I had a beard was when I had the chickenpox in 1990, I kept it until my 3 year old and six month old sons started pulling it then it came off in a flash.

I first grew a beard when I had the chickenpox also sometime in my early 30s. Sickest I’ve ever been😊
