If you are not a student or teacher or have a family member that is one,is there a way to purchase an adobe product with this discount?

Purchasing at Student/Teacher rate requires normally an email address which ends in .edu for college students or scanned copies of school ID's showing a date or a very recent progress report or semester grade sheet.

Abut the family member thing, THEY will need to make the purchase. Kind of defeats the whole idea trying to skirt standard street purchase price, doesn't it?

Just take a night class, and scan your enrollment form, and you will be fine

This should only be used by members of the Chicago school system as they need more benefits.

You also can get the discount if you have any member of your family attending a primary, middle, or high school. You need to send a copy of their latest report card or proof of their enrollment. I have purchased several Adobe products within the last year, including Lightroom 4, using my daughter as the required student. She is in fourth grade. This is stated in the fine print for student/teacher discount.

My experience was that it had to be college level, are you sure you got the full discount?

No problem Toby. I was like you and thought it had to be college level at a min. Maybe you are right about them needing sales! Glad I could help.
