I posted these in the LB forum, but I know not many go in there and I wanted to share them with you and my crabapple tree story.
Years ago I was having a horrible day, spent half of it crying and hubby said, let's get you out of the house for a while. We went out, just driving around, and I saw a nursery I had never been too. We went in, and started wandering around and spotted this small crabapple tree and fell in love with it. As I was looking at it, my husband came over and asked if I wanted it. I told him I would love to have it, but it was a bit too much price wise, I'd find something else to buy. The woman at the counter overheard out conversation, took one look at me (my eyes were swollen almost shut, and I looked dreadful from all of that crying) and she took pity on me and offered it to me for half price off. I will never forget how I got that tree, a really bad crying day, but one heck of a deal on my tree

Nice story and pretty photos. My grandparents had a crabapple tree in the backyard and my mother made jelly from the crabapples every year.
Beautiful photos and an even more lovely story. Every year I would smile each time it blooms. Mahalo for sharing.
Beautiful shots, love the soft pink
Not a half bad investment 😁
Beautiful set - glad it made you feel better!!

Thank you alliebess! I really do love that tree and always look forward to it blooming. I have a robin family moving in so we should have babies pretty soon. I have to really keep an eye on the dogs though.

Many thanks JoAnne, it really does bring me a lot of joy and a couple of years has caught the eye of Cedar Wax wings-that was a special treat. I'm glad you enjoyed them

Thank you John, this is one of my favorite trees in the yard. I have a dog wood too, but its been around for years and starting to look rather puny, and I have two Japanese Maples that I love as well
