Although I agree this is a great shot, my only suggestion is, assuming you have Photoshop, that maybe "mask" the surfers face so it doesn't look as distorted. Otherwise, I'd call it a wall hanger. Thanks for sharing.

I love the surfers face. It reminds me of a Picasso painting. My only critique is in the composition. I'd like to see the surfer placed more to the left. Could be done by cropping out the left and bottom sides. Still a fantastic image!

Having surfed for over 5 decades before moving to Montana, I can tell you have captured the action of the surf and the anticipation of the surfer with his position on the wave. Nice action shot and really cool PP work - care to share what processing you used?
