I used a 6" f/4 610mm focal length Newtonian, Canon T2i for imaging camera, AVX mount for tracking, ZWO ASI 120-M for guide camera (mounted to 50 mm guide-scope). About 64 300 second exposures at ISO 800, stacking in Deep Sky Stacker program (free) with bias, flats and dark frames included (these are called calibration frames). Final processing in PhotoShop CS6.

Very nicely done. I am impressed by the quality available if one takes the time to do something right. You should be proud of this shot. Hopefully you will do some more shots and give us the details again.

Nice shot. I lovely and mount.
Only 109 more messier objects to go.
