Can someone give me the name of a good Disk Reader? I have a Mac PC. I also need a pigtail to plug into my mac for more than one external drive.

Thank you for your help.

Your title says "card disk reader" but the body of your post says "disk reader". They are two different things. If you meant disk reader, I purchased a Samsung on Amazon for $30 several years ago and it has worked perfectly for me. Didn't even have to load any additional software. It was just plug and play.

yes a bit confusing. First of all which model of mac do you own (by the way no apple user ever calls their computer a pc, laughs ). Then what are you trying to do - a card reader for your S D card? Or a disc reader to read dvd, cds, etc.

I bought a LG USB DVD reader/writer at Best Buy a few years ago for around $30. There were many different brand names and prices. DVDs and CDs seem to have disappeared like everything else.

I have been using a Samsung CD/DVD reader writer on my iMac 's for years , its usb and came with the cord & it is plug and play, get a decent usb hub to increase the number of ports available and you're set to go.

I just purchased a SnartQ card reader on Amazon for 11.99. It is USB 3.0 which allows it to read faster than the 2.0 which a lot of the readers are. It will accept Compact Flash, SD, Micro SD and MS media. The new computer I have only has a slot for SD cards so I put a square of Velcro on the back and one on the side of the computer. When I need to use it for downloading a Compact Flash card, it will be handy to get to.

L M Medine, you still have not clarified if you are looking for a card reader or a disk reader, so you are getting a smattering of suggestions, some of which you don't need.
