1 read the instruction manual that came with the camera.
1.1 this means I will not post a stupid question where the answer from 100 people on uhh is 'did you read the instruction manual '
2 read the instruction manual that came with the editing software
2.1 see 1.1.
3 make a list of all of the equipment You have. For each piece write down 3 reasons You bought it in the first place.
3.1. Find 10 pictures you used each piece of equipment to take a picture.
4 if you have a vacation of a lifetime planned. Write down 5 reasons for every piece of equipment you are not taking.
5 take a typing course.
6 take a spelling course
7 take an English grammar course.
if you need to add to the list feel free to do so
I agree with them all, sound reasoning.

#1 and #2 are a must and if I may add, take the instruction manual with you when you shoot.
Imagine your life as a successful photographer. What camera are you holding?
8 Take a punctuation and capitalization course. <grin>

Great ideas but I take exception to item 1.1- If nobody posts "stupid questions" I won't be able to post "stupid" answers which will seriously deprive me of a high percentage of my locked-down recreational activities.
On item 2- I do make a habit of reading all the instruction manuals for all my hardware and software, even the ones that are printed in poorly translated foreign languages and printed in microscopic fonts in gray ink on grey paper.
Item 3. My lovely wife and lifetime business partner manages that accountability with an IRON HAND! Even the tripod-socket bushings and spare wing nuts for the lights stands are accounted for!
3.1- Nah- we use everything 'till it disintegrates!
Item 4- Last time I nearly sustained a hernia- next time it's gonna be only the cellphone camera!
items 5, 6, and 7. You are right on! When I attended high school around the time of the Peloponnesian War (431–404 BC- that's my kids' perception of my age), typing class and secretarial skills were for girls (little did we know about computer keyboards) and we macho-guys went shopping classes and made useless stuff. Grammar and spelling were "boring" back in Brooklyn. They told us that someday we are gonna need those skills but many did not heed the advice. I don't know how I made it through college and thank goodness, nowadays, for "spell-check"!
May I add some" required reading" for SOME folks. Perhaps some books on manners, etiquette, respect for one and othere-perhaps an updated version of Emely Post or Ann Landers. How to Win Friends and Influence People?
Be well and stay safe y'all!
I have added number 8

Answer to question three: First, I wanted it; second, I wanted it; third, I wanted it.
If most people are honest, they will have the same answer.
