Something different to think about
Looking for ideas.
Our kids are giving my wife and I a family reunion trip for our 50th anniversary next summer and it’s my wife’s job to decide on a place. We generally don’t do reunions because of the different interests of the kids. Ages range from 74-70 (Wife and I) are very mobile but not into rock climbing or long hard hikes , 4 kids with spouses, 13 Grand kids (1-20 yrs) and 1 GG kid (1 yr). Everyone doesn’t have to do everything.
Things to consider:
Best if inside the US (Most of us do have passports)
#1 Mountains #2 Beach #3 Desert(ish)
Separate accommodations (not dormitory)
Cool temp if possible
Some kids like camping and outdoors
Some like amusement parks (I don’t)
Fishing, rafting
Off road (We have 4x4s and several 4-wheelers but needs to be within driving of CO & WY)
Photography
Good food (No drinking)
Small crowds
History
Sitting around
Trip can last 7-21 days
Money isn’t too big of a deal but don’t want to spend millions.
I thought with the variety of things y’all see and have photographed I could get some good ideas.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Thanks—we’ll check it out.
The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs is a sister resort and much like the Cloister.
We’ve been to the Broadmoor-nice place.
We are looking for outside the “front range.”
Thanks
With that kind of advance notice there are cabins spread around Colo. Up in San Isabel NF or other areas. Some friends rented a group of 10 cabins a couple years ago near (Taylor Park maybe) a lake.
Thank you--- my son has a condo at Breckenridge and use it a couple times a year. I agree that area is very nice.

It's our 50th wedding anniversary next year so I pinned a map of the world on the kitchen wall, gave my wife a dart and asked her to throw it, promising to take her on a luxury holiday to wherever it lands. I'm not pleased to report that next July we're spending 2 weeks in the cat litter tray.
Well I must say, that would be different. None of us have never been there. Please let me know how it goes.
The only place I can think of that would have something for everyone is Disney World. Beaches, camping, variety of restaurants and clubs.
I went with a family group and we stayed at different Disney accommodations, and all met for breakfast every day. Most, but not every day, we were all together for dinner. During the day we broke into groups depending on interests.

That one's on the table. My oldest kid and his family love going to Universal. That’s a big maybe.

Did you try asking your wife??
Check out Creede, Colorado. My family has been there for a week, in a group of cabins, for over 35 years. Soward Ranch is on the Rio Grande River. Mesa Verde is a day trip. Creede Repertory Theater has matinees and evening performances.
I don't know what effect the coronavirus might have on any of this.
Alberta and Banf in Canada! (Not the US, but close!and BEAUTIFUL)

Yes. She is trying to find a place that has something for everyone. If it were up to me I’d go to Cody, WY.
I keep telling her, “ya can’t please everyone, so ya got to please yourself.” After all it is for our anniversary.
