Someone asked about how to attract birds. I just bought this today from Lowe’s. I hung it on a tree hoping the birds will be attracted to. Hoping they will rest on the bare branches between snacks or waiting their turn. Will see what happens

I have found that a multifaceted approach works very well. Sunflower seed feeder, thistle seed feeder, suet feeder and water.

Watch the depth of the seed. After awhile, many birds won't be able to reach through the gaps. I put a wrinkled up plastic bag behind the block of suet or seed to push it forward when they eat it down to where it is hard to reach.

I agree 100%
And add meal worms, and peanuts to that.

I have a couple that I swear can read my thoughts - grab a camera, even if it is set out ready to go, and they are gone!

They play hide-n-seek with me. They talk up a storm calling me to come outside. And when I do they hide

I put up a one of those suet feeders once, but the squirrels liked duet more than the birds did, and they made short work of it.

We can get all the suet we want free from any local supermarket meat department. We hang it in a special mesh on a branch and man do they come.
