She is a Level 1 Trauma, ICU nurse. Googles not a part of mask.
That is one serious mask. Wishing your daughter safety and please, give her our thanks for being on the front lines.
Ohlala! And she has to work efficiently with all this gear on the face + having the vision hindered by the fogging in the glasses? Glad I don't be a nurse in USA! LOL
I hope she has had a quantitative fit test for that mask. Environmental Health and Safety Professionals understand that all negative pressure respirators leak. A correctly fitted respirator will have minimal, but still some leakage. If her respirator is not correctly fitted, it will tend to give her a false sense of security and actually increase her risk.
My best of luck to her, and responders at all levels, who risk their lives to help others. There will be a special place for them in Heaven.
Interesting mask. Tell your daughter thank you.

Tell her Thank you and keep up the good work.
It was issued and fitted by her hospital safety staff.

She also has been infected and been quarantined. Her case was medium serious. Healthy now.

That's really good to hear. Lack of proper fitting is an issue that has gotten a lot of people in serious troubles over the years.
God bless her and keep her safe.
There no justice...she had also to pay an heavy contribution to "have the right helping others"! Yes, all the people involved in this battle are heroes.
Here in France, each evening at exactly 20h00, people come at the window and applaus very loud during 60 sec, so the "medical people" can hear the nation saying "thank You from all our heart"!
It makes my hair stand up on my arm an I get shivers...
Hope she is now again in good health.
That can't be comfortable. I wonder how effective the filters are. I have a couple like that, and I use them for spraying paint, but I don't know how they'd do with biologicals.
God bless her and all the stalwarts she works with.

According to the color code (purple) on the filters, they are High Efficiency Particle Filters (HEPA). These filters are the gold standard for particle filters. They are rated to be 99.9% efficient at for particles .3 microns. They are exhausting to wear for long periods and as they filters become it becomes more difficult to breath through them.
