Spiders of all descriptions are amazing and beautiful creatures. Imagine being an animal that can barely see (except for the jumping spiders and wolf spiders) but can construct amazingly symmetrical webs even in near total darkness. When you look at a spider you are looking at an animal that has remained virtually unchanged for millions of years. The primitive spiders like tarantulas, trap door, funnel web spiders and others are the oldest know terrestrial inverts on the planet.
