Too much "tidying up" can have its disadvantages.

I'm in danger of tripping over stuff as I move from room to room.

My wife doesn't like clutter, so I am not allowed to store my stuff where she can see it. Consequently it has a room to itself. It is not possible to walk in that room so I am not in danger of tripping.

I might be in danger of stuff falling on me.

You don’t have enough stuff?
Lol, it’s like George Forman says, “that’s not my problem”

George Forman?
I know George Carlin did a great routine about “stuff” but what’s the Forman connection. When I hear George Forman I think boxing and grilles😊

I thought I was the only one with a room like that! (Overflow from the garage!)

I figured the lockdown would give me a good opportunity to clean out the basement and attic. After two days I realized I was basically re-arranging, not eliminating. I’m gonna take a day off and re-think this project.😊

My wife recently informed me that we needed a new house.
I asked, "Why?
She said, 'Because this one's full !!"

We sold/donated most of our "stuff" when we moved permanently into a luxury RV to travel. After John's passing only a year later, I sold the RV, gathered up what I had left and bought a small house. Having gotten used to not having "stuff", I now live a pretty spare lifestyle. I find not having "stuff" around is emotionally freeing. When friends try to give me things, I decline, saying "Please, I do not want more "stuff".
