Agora Gallery...
. I went yhere to see some Photography photos. .. This is what I saw... Nothing but Oil paintings...They said that they didn't have anything on photography yet.... I was dispointed. they told me not to use a flash.I switch to scene (Landscape) and did not pre focus any shots... I asked them if they had a restroom, they said NO... There is 23 steep steps to climb to get to them... I will never go back again...

Don't blame you. No restrooms are a no-no for me these days.
You don't have a rest-room, you don't have my money.

Thats to bad! Some times folks don't think about what others might need.

Don't blame you for not wanting to go back.
Hi Tony,
I'm sorry to hear that your time was not well spent at Agora Gallery. Agora Gallery represents artists working in all different types of media, and holds an exhibition exclusively for photography twice a year, in November and in April. The work that will be shown in the upcoming photography exhibition, Altered States of Reality, can currently be seen in the digital catalog online here -
http://www.agora-gallery.com/exhibitionannouncement/Altered_4_19_2013.aspx - and, of course, in the gallery come November.
Anyone who visits Agora Gallery knows our staff goes out of the way to be friendly, attentive and never vague.
Unfortunately, the restroom was recently out of order, of which we kindly informed our visitors when asked, and I assure you that no staff member would ever reply with a flat "No" when approached about it. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding...in any case we are sorry that this is how it turned out.
The stairs that you used are the emergency exit for the gallery. The gallery is also accessible by elevator from the main building door which is located about 30 ft. to the left of the stairs.
As for the photos you took while at the gallery, you will find, as I'm sure fellow readers can attest to, that the use of flash is prohibited in almost every art gallery, museum or institution in effort to preserve the artwork and avoid any damage that the flash may impose.
Again, we are truly disappointed to read your post, as it does not accurately depict our gallery, exhibition or outstanding staff. I do hope you will visit the gallery again in the future, where you will be most certainly welcome.
