Any thoughts for identification?

This was taken inside a California poppy. I have run across a few of these all inside of a poppy. I am in Sacramento California along the American River. It looks like it might be some type of grasshopper or cricket, but the behavior is very slow moving like that of a stick insect, and it doesn't possess the robust hind legs of the regular grasshopper or katydid. The body was approximately 3/4 in long with antennae at least two times the length of the body. If any of you ento's out there know, let me know. I do request that you don't just throw out a guess. If you have a good idea of what it is, that is great. Thanks.

I also threw in a couple of shots of a native bee and leafhopper in the poppies as well. Couldn't believe all of the pollen on them. Enjoy

If you don't get any definitive answers here, if you're on Facebook there is an international group called 'Insect Identification' you could try.
Btw, very nice pictures.

Same guy it appears....and they couldn’t ID it either! I’m still trying and, if no luck, I have an entomologist friend.

No idea on identification but that is a neat bug in the first two shots! The shots are all excellent.
