I have been running Win7 for years - very successfully. Now nobody wants to know about it, so I took a deep breath and downloaded 10.

NOW, Bridge does not recognise my cameras (all shoot in RAW) and I cannot download any images.

Admin/ computer management/portable devices etc - then come to the cameras - refuses to recognise them.

Any help would be appreciated please...

I think Bridge needs ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) to open RAW files. I don't think Bridge will open RAW files all by itself. Do you have Photoshop on your computer? What version?

You need to update all your apps to Win 10 versions also.

Are you using the version of Bridge from CS6? It may be that CS6 does not work with W10. I upgraded to W10 in January and everything worked properly without any issues. However, I am using the Adobe subscription model.

But can you simply forget the camera and use card reader. Since I never connect the camera to the computer I don't know. Also copy the files to your hard drive before opening them.

Maybe you have to remove and reinstall Photoshop.

I got a WIN10 computer late last year and loaded my CS6 on it. The bridge feature works fine, and yes, it shows the raw images. In fact, that is the ONLY way I can access the ACR in PS is to go to bridge and right click the image, select "open in ACR" and voila. That's an extra step, but it's OK because I do other things in Bridge as well.

Adobe provides Bridge at no cost if you have an account. Maybe a newer version of Bridge will work with the ACR that was part of the old CS6.

I went from Windows 3.1 to Windows NT 4.0 to Windows XP to Windows 7 to Windows 10. Each has something better and each has problem at least in the beginning but Windows 10 seems to have the least problem in my opinion.

CS6 works fine on my Win10 machine. Dunno what has gone wrong for the OP, but I doubt it's CS6.

You have Bridge, so I assume that you have some version of Photoshop? If so can you open the RAW file from Photoshop?

I have Windows 10, Photoshop CS6, and Bridge. All work perfectly.

I have Windows 10, CS6, Bridge. My RAW files appear in Bridge as thumbnails. Simply double clicking on the thumbnail opens ACR. In Photoshop, click Edit>Preferences. Select File handling. Make sure Prefer Adobe Camera RAW for Supported RAW Files is checked.
