I found out that they will not release your money from a sale until 7 days from the longest expected delivery date. That can be 3 weeks.

Hint: Amazon - like e-bay - has ALWAYS put the customer first.
The customer is always viewed as 'right' - even those that lie like a dog.
I've been screwed x2 by ebay in that manner.
I've NOT done any selling with amazon.

Over the years I have sold at least 100 items of camera gear and never a problem. I will not sell on Amazon in the future

The were always protected. You have to give them cc and bank info to sell. Any problems they take the money from your bank or cc

Amazon and eBay are always pro buyer. I've sold too and never have a problem other than say a customer disappearing and never completing the transaction.

I've always found Amazon to be geat! Fast refunds, easy returnns, etc. BUT!!! A package last month was short two items ($35.00). I cannot get through their phones, cannot find a way to inform them on their website, and they did not respond to two emails!
