A Different Fishing Technique

I've never seen this fishing method before. I never did see them catch anything.

If he was here on the Gulf Coast, that would be called a Sand Flea rake. Used to catch crustaceans for bait that Pompano, Red Drum, and some other delicious fish eat. But he is pretty far out, so I have no idea what he is doing. :)

I forgot about sand bugs (what we called them).

We call them sand crabs and that makes perfect sense, thanks.

I may have a couple of them in my garage

I can't use them right now because our beaches are closed, and I can hear the Pompano laughing at me.
