When my wife tried to put a found sock into her socks drawer, seven month old Annie saw her chance to finally find out what the drawer contains. To her credit, my wife called me {and my camera} before doing anything else.

My theory is that they have an instinctive need that contributes to their being good 'mousers', but we have had only one mouse in our house in seven years {it must have been desperate to move into a house that already smells of two cats}.
