To get a check appears to be a hit and miss more than anything. Some will, some will not and it is not related to paying taxes but to the way you filed it.
In our case by example we filed through a third party and when we verified the status... The IRS did not know us!!! We corrected the issue on line, five minutes checked and now the site is really busy...
So, go the IRS web site and search for the link. I am not posting it because I do not want this to be moved but then again the last time I told folks to look for a link on line* it was anyway...

We received the money this morning. Our tax returns are filed through H&R Block and the refunds (when we get one) are deposited directly into our bank account.
I have been using a free online site to file my taxes for several years. Refunds are direct-deposited to my credit union account. Yesterday my credit union notified me the $1200 stimulus would be deposited today. Currently the credit union site is too busy to log in

Verify. We thought we were fine. We are not.
I got my normal mid-month paycheck today, but won't be getting any of that free money, so I guess I will keep stimulating the economy with my normal cash flow :)

This for tax payers regardless of employment status so you are eligible.
Now, if you make more than the ceiling (that is relatively high) you will not get anything.
Who exactly qualifies for a payment? Individuals with adjusted gross incomes up to $75,000 a year will be eligible for the full $1,200 check. Reduced checks will go out to individuals making up to $99,000 a year (the payment amount falls by $5 for every $100 in income above $75,000). Note for couples the limit is $150,000 combined.

I make too much. That is what I was getting at
I will have to wait for a check. Now the checks will be delayed even longer because Trump is insisting that his name appear on the checks! Like it is his money!
Is there no depth this guy won’t stoop to.

Couldn't find enough to talk about in The Attic? Not everyone needs the pandering of politics in every post.

Apparently, Navy Federal Credit Union website got waylaid with the coincidental timing of 15th of the month paydays and the deposit of stimulus checks. The website has been unreachable since early morning on April 15.

If you don't like it, just shred your check or give it back.

There was an issue with USAA a couple of days ago too. I doubt this is related to this one time thingy... More like related to folks trying to hack in.

You don’t think putting his name on the checks isin’t politics?
What is next? His face on the dollar bill? It won’t be on a stamp because he is going to let the post office die.

I honestly don't care, that's why I'm not in The Attic and stay around the photography and General Chit-Chat, where there is a reasonable sense of understanding that we can discuss topics without dealing with your last two posts. If you want to PM me and vent, you are more than happy to, I promise I'm a good listener, but please don't hijack Ron's thread.
