The reflections add to the dynamics of this sequence of images, it was a still morning, the light was in the right place and I waited patiently for some images with reflections, then this Terned up! I couldn't have asked for more, the Tern dives in to grab a fish.
These are great shots of the birds with reflections. My favorite would be the second last. It looks like a dish of an alien creature.

Photography always seems to be of two types: a decision between capturing a great shot or recording an event. Your second shot is the best of the event. For me, the series becomes redundant and detracts from the beauty of a single great shot that expresses the event. I think we sometimes need to resist the desire to show every shot we take, even though it's hard to do, for me also.
Different strokes...! Recording events is also one of my interests, I also shoot video and make Gifs of interesting bird action.
Recording bird sequences showing bird behavior or just their grace, beauty, and dexterity is one of my interests, besides, it is also a very challenging endeavor to get repeated images that make up the sequence, all in focus and with the right exposure.
It serves several purposes, especially for those who study birds. I have shot sequences in excess of 78 images which show several bird traits that often go unseen or unnoticed.
I would love to see some of your action images and possibly sequences.
Thank you for your comments.
Thank you All!
