Lovely birds. But I'm most struck by the creaminess of the backgrounds.

Thanks. I was just setting in the backyard and they flew into our pear tree. Just passing through. They don't stay in this area.

It was a combination of sky and trees in the background that was far behind the subject. Thanks for looking and your comments.

Wow! That first shot of the cedar waxwings is the best shot of that species ever! They come to our mulberry tree every summer. Once I even raised one that fell out of a nest. Love those birds; thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I was just lucky to catch them passing by. They only stayed about 30 minutes and then they were gone.
