I like’em too but they can be pests. Years ago I was building a shed in my back yard and I kept peanuts in my coat pocket and would occasionally throw one to a squirrel that was around. Once, when I wasn’t paying attention (and neglecting him/her) and was hammering away, the squirrel climbed up the leg of my pants trying to get to my coat pocket. Had to take the nuts out of my pocket. Cute little devil.

Vert nice photos! All good but #1 is my favorite.
Had big oak trees with lots of lively squirrels behind our house in Maryland. There are some squirrels here, but more elephants than squirrels! 🙂

Angler - Love your photos of this little guy. We have several in our yard & they love to rob my bird feeders. I've been know to chase them away when they really hog the feeders!! In fact my neighbor behind me puts out peanuts in the shell but doesn't stop them from raiding my feeders - LOL!! I do so enjoy watching them chase each other back & forth on my back fence & when they jump from my trees to different limbs - what gymnasts they are !!

They are cute and fun to watch but... not so cute or fun when you find they got in your pop up camper and chewed holes or made a nest in you car you stored for the winter.. and yes they do it
