I made this DIY bracket to mount two speedlites to one umbrella and put the speedlite at the center of the umbrella. Opinions

Cool! Did you know there are brackets like this on the market for very little money?

Here is a quadruple flash bracket for $9.50 on eBay for example.

Looks solid. Sure beats the inexpensive brackets you find everywhere.

Perhaps you were right to call it a 'Duel' bracket as opposed to a Dual bracket. Attacks to your accessory, have started, but it looks good to me.

Lots of work just to gain one additional f/stop. It can be purchased already made.

Very impressive design and build. You should give George Forman a call!

Cheaply made elsewhere, but there's something very satisfying about building your own! Great job!

Very well built ! Is it steel or aluminum ?? .....But I think I would put the flash heads on a line with the exact center of the umbrella instead of having to "aim" them - as long as you are going to all this trouble.

I did something like that with a 3” shelf bracket from the hardware store and some parts from my junk drawer.

looks nice to me and there is nothing more satisfying than building it yourself....you could find a $100.00 bill on the ground and some folks would say nice but it looks wet and dirty....I call it the teachers syndrome....nobody gets a perfect paper !!!

Hcmcdole!

Thanks for the tip! I just ordered 3. The brackets are adjustable and very compact.

Be well! Watch out for those nasty viruses! :-)
