Starting to print on a Epson Surecolor P-600 using only Epson paper, all types.
For 8X10 prints, Epson makes 8X10 and 8.5X10 paper, WHY??
I want to place them in nice matted frames for our home.
Question is:
Do I use the 8X10 or 8.5X10 and should they be with a border or borderless?
I do NOT want to get into expensive custom frames, just standard, but high end frames with Matte.
Why would Epson do this??

The size is 8.5x11, not 8.5x10.
I print an 8.000x10.000 image on 8.5x11 paper. I mount it on a base mat. I put a beveled window mat (7.75x9.75 opening) over that, and frame it. I crop a wee bit loosely, of course.
I have no idea why you are asking, “Why would Epson do this?”
I usually print on 8.5 x 11 and do the "with border" setting. Since I normally fill my frames to the edge, that border allows me to mat right to the edge of the pictures. I find that an 8.5 x 11 fits nicely into an 11x14 frame. I like the mats to be the same width on all sides, so cutting a 1.5" mat gives me that with little loss of image space.
Hi and ty for the handy info.
