Lenses bought new several years ago only used once or twice. No scratches or damage of any kind.
The 250 is recommended for lenses with a focal length of 30mm to 135mm and the 500 for 70mm to 300mm.
Attached picture taken with the 250. Distance was 9" from subject to camera mounting flange to obtain focus. Without the 250 the minimum focus distance is just shy of 16".
