I volunteer at my local no-kill Humane Society as the cat photographer for posting online.
The percentage of adoptions to forever families has rising exponentially with posting of photos. Here are three older ladies that found forever families. Good practice for me shooting moving animals, fun playing with them and picturing what the final images should show of their personality. The hardest part is not taking a dozen home. Enjoy some beautiful ladies.

Thank you. I also make 2x3 photo cage tags for them (I use my scrap paper) and the new family gets to take the photo home. The shelter also sends the the new owner a copy of the photo via email so they can share with friends. I love shopping at thrift store for backgrounds and frequently, when I explain my mission, businesses will donate that piece of fabric or blanket.

These are lovely Bonnie and it's so nice to know these will help them get homes much quicker. I had wanted to take photos are our local shelter when I first started taking photos, it just wasn't in the cards, but I'm so glad you are able to do this and make a difference for the cats and other pets looking for homes. Kudos to you! ♥
