Easter Cactus ( Echinopsis) bloomed almost on time
Ive had this cactus for about 10 years. Always has bloomed one time a year, normally March April time frame. (hence the name Easter Cactus)
Last year it bloomed at least 6 different times starting in Feb… sometimes with 5 flowers at one time and other times only one flower.
This year 3 flowers appeared yesterday….and I can count 11 more stalks just starting….
It takes about 4 days for the stalk to grow and it blooms only at night around midnight and last less than a day
Nice shots and thanks for posting. They grow around the neighborhood and I didn't know what they were.
