She was born in 1969 in Japan, Father unknown, mother possibly Konica origin, she came to the us by ship, then transported to Waco, Texas photography store where I spotted her in a display case in the store front window. I think every time I passed by the window she would wink at me, I just had to have her.
I saved enough money to get her not knowing if if she was any good or not, back then it didn't matter as long as she worked and took nice pictures and she for sure did just that, she was a perfect match for my Minolta film
camera. she had been in a case for some time now feeling neglect so I got her out and we went for a walk, I had forgotten how good she was she's such a sweetheart and to this day I still enjoy her.
I put her on my Sony a7rII and away we went.

Gorgeous photos, Johnny!!! That lens is still a hard worker!!
Dodie
Nice. I too still enjoy several of my bits of glass from that era. Fun isn’t it? So much more durable than the plastic fantastics now so common. I’ve ended up tossing a couple of those in the trash as they cannot be repaired. Never with a well designed all metal one have I had problems.
Excellent set. Sometimes old is good.
