Went out to do some garden work today - - after 4 hours, cutting & scraping up about 250# of overgrown bushes and leaves, the wife finally said I'd done enough. Hint: I AM getting just a bit too old for this.
Anyway - - while out, I kept passing by this pink bush in the back yard. And while NOT apparent in the first photo, a close look at the second (download required) will show what else was in this bush. Overall hundreds of small bees, bugs, and butterflies were also enjoying what we'd planted 6 years ago. The last shot was a spur of the moment photo of some pansies and their guardian.
Nice...we are awaiting our gardens to come to life!!

Thanks :) :)
Spring comes early in South Texas :) :)
My wife (TX Master Gardener) has a green thumb.
Me - - usually if I touch a plant, it dies :( :(
Fortunately, I had MUCH better luck with my patients
