More from a forest environment. Yeah, I know I clipped his nose. But that's the weirdest part of a giraffe anyway. These are Rothschilds' Giraffes, a subspecies of the Masai Giraffe.

You sure bring back memories from my trip to Africa back in 2006. It was before I ever thought of Nikon cameras. I had a Panasonic DMC-FZ7 camera. It was a goodie in its time. These came from my Kenya folder. It was at a refuge for giraffes that had been rescued and not returnable to the jungle. To this day I remember how long their tongues were and how very soft also. You sure bring back memories from my from my trip.

Thank you, Johanna. I'm glad you liked them. How long have you lived in Albuquerque? Most of my family lives in New Mexico. From Albuquerque to Tucumcari to Los Alamos
