That looks like my kind of cat. His/her story? I lost an old black cat last year--Fabuloso was his name. He'd been a street cat for years but was more than amenable to becoming a pet. I thought he'd lost his ears to fighting but it turned out he'd scratched them off himself due to a chronic ear mite infestation. The cat in your photo is lovely.

Good shot. Now that is a cat that my crew never wants to meet!

Beautiful kitty!!! I have many cats one of whom is a one eyed Maine Coon I adopted from the pound and another cat who has deformed ears due to a bad ear mite infestation as a kitten. He also has a deformed mouth. The rescue people didn't know if it was genetic or if he had been injured. He was about 9 months old when a lady in the rescue group found him and a few weeks later he came to live with me.

Please give him/her hugs and kisses from me!!!

Dodie

Thanks all. She was in an animal shelter we support. Kids were laughing at her, so we brought her home.
She couldn’t be lovelier. No idea what happened to her on the outside, but she is perfectly healthy now. Sleeps right between us. We have another one-eyed girl. Her story is much harsher but she too is fine now and sound asleep next to me as I type this.
