Perhaps the only safe thing left to do to get out of the house is to tour the local marsh/wildlife area. I do capture one or two varieties on each drive-around and am thankful for that. Maybe I am even more appreciative of the individual birds--I am glad to see even the very common ones.

Thanks for sharing, Katy. I agree that the Wilson's Snipe is hard to find, though I did see a pair several weeks ago and they have been reported in a nearby canyon. The other birds are frequently seen, but I always enjoy your photos. Take good care of yourself and stay healthy. jak

Please stay healthy, too, jak. I never think of snipes in a canyon. Not too many canyons in this area, but as it warms up soon, I expect to see more of them out and about. In the broken down reeds. Great hiding spots.
