Bill you asked the question and here my friend is the answer
We live in strange times and at present i am living with my friend John
in his apartment, we both decide to start clearing stuff out
John comes out with a box of assorted bits for me to rummage through
Found a lot of old silver spoons so told him I will clean them up for him to see what he thinks
And I also thought would be a good photo op maybe
But as I was cleaning the spoons I became more interested in the mess being laid down on my white baseboard, and that became my photo op Not the spoons haha
Photographed and tweaked then hand colored
You never know where your next photo opportunity will come from
Just keep an open mind and explore the unlikely
Bill you asked the question and here my friend is ... (show quote)

Simon - you never cease to amaze...

Neat project, simon... I have a drawer full them dating back to the 1800's, even with first names or initials engraved on the handles

Enjoy your time with your grandson and don't stress out - homeschooling is much more than following a "real" teacher's assignments - it's learning to how to live life! I home educated my daughter and she is now doing the same with her five children and is finding that all this isolation is wearing on them since they aren't able to do what they normally do. It will be so good when this is all over!

Thanks Sue! Your advise is much appreciated.

Thinking of you all as well. Stay well, stay safe, and at least six feet apart.

The spoons may have not been the ultimate initial subject, but I really like the dipper on the left (after tarnish remover applied of course). The last remaining mess is my favorite. Good work Simon!
