I would suggest you should iron the fold crease out of your back drop before shooting. Also if going for smooth back drop make sure the edge has no wrinkles (lower right).

The new to me camera is Nikon D5500. So far am just learning all the opions this camera offers.

The still life of stuffed cute animals doesn't seem to be the only symptom of the self-incarceration we're experiencing.
The distaff strategy of constantly changing teh "rules" is simply to keep the male side off balance and defensive.
Don't fall for it. They like acting pissed off (it is SO easy for 'em) so we retreat. Don't fall for it. Make 'em come up with something else. Should be amusing.
