Tulips From The Past

Every other year I try to make it up north of Seattle to the annual tulip bloom that occurs in the Skagit Valley. This was my year to go. But like everything else, it has been canceled. Of course the tulips are still blooming (or will be soon), you just can't get in. Bad for the public but far worse for the tulip growers who depend on the month of April for the bulk of their yearly revenue. Here's a few shots from past years that I gathered together because I'll be unable to post anything new for you this year.

)Thanks Linda. Yes, it's a long way from Yakima but worth it at least once. If you do go someday make it in the middle of the week. Weekends are very crowded.

I love the Tulips and this is the time of the year for them to pop-up where I live. They are so gorgeous and your images are really crisp and clean looking. The colors are amazing and these flowers always bring me joy.
