The Yellow-headed Blackbirds Are Back

They pass through our local marsh area each spring. The males and females hang out in separate groups, at least initially. They favor small reed islands in shallow water, and I can never get close enough to them. These are all males. They are a little bit bigger than Red-wings and sometimes fly with them.
