Pano day

Yesterday was such a beautiful day that about 5:00 pm I went to my favorite overlook across the Salt Lake Valley toward the Wasatch Mountains. This might be the time I finally get the definitive pano.

What I learned is that, although pretty, a 40 degree day with a strong wind makes shooting (1) cold and (2) shaky, even with a tripod.

I will continue my pursuit. I know the perfect set is out there.

Very nice. I haven't done any pano work. I may try it after the lockdown.

I think it would be more interesting to make shot one show a little more of the city. The way it is I feel something is missing. But, if you get that right, I think you have found your nirvana.

Nice work. You have a hook on the bottom of your tripod head?
