I'm having a different kind of gas attack now. When the COVID-19 outbreak started, my grandson and I started building Lego sets since I wasn't venturing outside. Now that we are quarantined separately, I still order them and build them for him. I leave them on the front porch and his mom gets them after I leave. So far, I've spent probably $600 on Lego sets----enough for a lens---but the enjoyment of a new hobby is better. I find building these sets to be as relaxing as a jigsaw puzzle. But I do miss his "help"....

And a new lens would not give you the same pleasure.. . Enjoy your grandchild while you can... You are blessed....
Time spent with your grandson is well worth more than a thousand lenses. Enjoy the time with him and he'll never forget his lego friend.

Photos of the completed sets would seem to be a win-win?

Best story I've heard! Stay safe
Now you have to post pictures of your best Lego project. You might need a NEW macro lens for small projects or an expensive NEW tilt/shit model to maintain proper perspective on tabletop architecture. GAS?

Good Job Grampy!!!! Yes, post some pics of the lego builds !! Too bad you have to quarantine apart, we are having a few limited visits with ours...but it is worrisome....
very cool thing to do, the 10 year old granddaughters enjoy building lego with their Grandma and Grandpa. We just finished the Hogwart's Castle in February. Not sure what the next build is going to be.
They will remember you way more for what you did with them rather than the pictures you took.
