Nice shots. I like that they are both on their own rocks in the water. Looks like they are enjoying each others company. I'd like to get a pair of shoes like hers

A great compelling subject "(wo)man and her dog". Unfortunately you could not ask for poses and so the subjects are often looking down or facing away from the camera. The focus looks soft. I don't know if this is a result of the quality of the lens used, the aperture setting, or the point of focus. The lens is obviously the only variable you cannot improve. There also appears to be some movement blur. Shooting at a higher shutter speed and/or increasing the ISO would have helped. Very honestly, these photos fall into what I categorize as snap shots. They capture a nice moment but would not make my list of must keeps.
