Yeah, they're pretty but none of them are in focus. Am I missing something?

Yes the leading bird is not in focus, but this shot came together so fast that I did not have time to change the f-stop from 8, but I still liked the concept of the picture so I posted it anyway. Some pictures are not perfect bur still interesting.

As I said, They are pretty photos. I photograph birds also. Some in flight, some not. But I post very few of them that are not in focus. Sharp focus is the primary mandate for what I call a good photograph, of anything, birds included. And yes I understand how fast the action can be. Sometimes you have to go with what you have and hope for the best. If this photo was mine I would look at it critically and as objectively as possible and I would know that neither bird is in focus.
